Richard enjoys highly complex financial cases whether pertaining to net family property division under the Ontario Family Law Act or the spousal support cases (periodic and lump sum) pursuant to the provisions of the Federal Divorce Act.

Richard conducts spousal maintenance and child maintenance cases ranging from several thousands of dollars per month to over 25,000 dollars per month in spousal and child maintenance awards. Richard has also conducted cases involving lump sum maintenance awards from under 100,000 dollars to approaching one million dollars.

In addition to his litigation practice, Richard negotiates marriage contracts, separation agreements and cohabitation agreements to resolve property issues, alimony issues, child custody and access and child maintenance issues.
